Redi Electric’s work ranges from the nationally significant, such as the
Ground Based Missile Defense Program at Shemya Island and Fort Greely, Alaska,
to local endeavors such as a new high school in the Anchorage suburb of Eagle
River.
Redi Electric is involved in a major remodeling effort at Fort Richardson
that is part of the nation’s new Stryker Force effort. The company’s Line
Department is working with several developers to provide primary power
distribution, telephone and cable television services to various new housing
developments. And for the second year, Redi is supplying day labor contract
services for the Matanuska Electric Association in the Matanuska and Susitna
Valleys.
Redi Electric’s newly created division, Redi Data Solutions, provides
communications and data systems design and installation. This division is
installing fiber optic and copper network systems for the missile defense
program in Alaska. Redi also is working in the Frontier Building in Anchorage
for the State of Alaska as well as public schools throughout the city, among
other projects.
Through it all, employee protection is our top priority. Redi Electric has a
comprehensive safety policy in place. The firm’s workers’ comp experience
modification for the past three years has been .93, 1.00 and 1.00. In fact,
Redi’s role in the national missile defense system contributed to more than a
million hours of accident-free work.

The company’s commitment to providing a full range of services sparked its
newest offering, Redi Data Solutions. This division brings a multitude of
telecommunications solutions to match customers’ individual needs, no matter how

The Data Solutions team is highly trained in all telecommunications areas,
including the design and installation of fiber optic networks, copper cabling

even working 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They’ve done this not only in
Anchorage, but also in remote sections of Alaska, including Barrow, Bethel,
Kodiak and Kotzebue. Redi is there for the long-term as well. The company takes
inventories of each customer's electrical system to ensure critical components
are readily available. Redi maintains a huge facility to store special
maintenance parts and works closely with suppliers nationwide for speedier
